Introduction

Have you ever been in an intellectual argument with someone you know you will not turn to your side? You try to reach out of that comfortable bubble of similar opinions only to realize the world is full of people with different opinions and are just as convinced they are right as you are. If you have ever tried to argue a point on Facebook, you probably know what I am referring to. I have tried to avoid these confrontations lately, as they all seem to devolve into calling people “snowflakes” and “racists”. Which brings me to a week ago, where I did dive into one of those arguments and ended up writing a short book about why we shouldn’t blame the borrowers for the financial crisis. My opponent was respectful and listened to my ramblings, a rare occurrence in those forums, but I was frustrated that my point was made in an unorganized fashion in my friends Facebook post comment section. I have decided instead to write my unorganized ramblings in here. These will be subjects that interest me and help me to collect and organize my thoughts. If anyone decides to read them, I hope they are informative.
